3) recognises that at 121 years the Currie Cup is the oldest provincial rugby tournament in the world and that this is the 7th time that the Sharks have won this coveted trophy;
4) thanks all of the teams, players, coaches, sponsors and fans for once again putting on a great rugby spectacle over the past season;
5) congratulates the Sharks lock, Pieter-Steph du Toit, on his admirable Man of the Match performance; and
6) further congratulates the Sharks on their Currie Cup title and wishes all South African teams well in their preparations for the Super 15 that kicks off in February next year. Agreed to.
