The Standing Committee on Education could not consider the Western Cape Provincial School Education Amendment Bill because Members requested for more time to study the public inputs on the Bill.

The Chairperson proposed that the discussion on the public inputs for the Bill be scheduled for a later date because Members requested to be given more time to study the document.
The Committee then agreed the discussion should be held on 12 and 18 October 2018.

Ms L Botha (DA) seconded the move.
The minutes were adopted with no amendments.
11 September Minutes
The Chairperson took the Members through the document page by page.
Ms Botha proposed for the acceptance of the minutes.
Mr R Mackenzie (DA) endorsed the proposal.
The minutes were adopted with no amendments.
The meeting was adjourned.
