Crime Stats Relating to Sexual Offences

Every year the Minister of Police publishes the Crime Statistics of the country. These statistics are important as they inform citizens on how safe they are. Most importantly these statistic inform policy direction on how to reduce crime and deter criminal activity.

Gender based violence (GBV) has been considered another pandemic in the country. And, the numbers are telling. This infographic presents a comparative analysis of the crime statistics on sexual offences for 2019/20 and 2018/19.
