About Natasha Wendy Anita Mazzone

Ms Mazzone was born in Pretoria and served as the Chief Whip of the Opposition in the National Assembly between 31 October 2019 and 18 August 2022. Her political career commenced in 1997 in the then Democratic Party (DP) where she was elected as Chairperson of the DP Youth branch at the UP and progressed to becoming leader of the DP National Federal Youth Leader in 1998. In 2000 she was elected as the National Youth Leader of the DA and was appointed as a Councilor in the Tshwane Metro Council in Pretoria in 2003. Before being appointed as Shadow Minister of Public Enterprises, she held different positions in the DA. She has also served as the Deputy Chairperson Federal Council for the DA.

Ms Mazzone has been appointed as the Shadow Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies
