Francois Beukman

About Francois Beukman

Mr Beukman matriculated from Paarl Boys High in 1983. He obtained a BA, Honours and Master's Degree from the University of Stellenbosch and a B.Proc LLB from the University of South Africa. He was admitted as an Attorney in 1997. He was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of England and Wales in 2007. He worked as a senior constitutional planner during the multi-party negotiation process. He served for three years as an external member of the SABC Board. As a member of the National Assembly he chaired the Standing Committee for Public Accounts (SCOPA) for three years. He has acted as attorney of record for a cross-section of clients - corporate and individuals- at various fora including the Constitutional Court, other courts and administrative tribunals.
