About Lungiswa Veronica James

Ms Lungiswa Gazi James is a Mayoral Committee member for Health in the Western Cape. She ensures that the levels of care provided by city clinics are further expanded and enhanced. She has worked in health care for 17 years and has set up food gardens in Khayelitsha and sewing groups to assist unemployed women. She is the chairperson of the Democratic Alliance’s N2 constituency as well as an MP to the National Assembly.
